Her Boyfriend Left When He Saw Her Without Makeup And Now She Inspires Us All!

Sophia’s ex-boyfriend dumped her because of her skin disease psoriasis and instead of letting that define her, she decided to share what she looks like without makeup to the world. This amazing, inspirational, girl teaches us all that we don’t have to wear makeup to be beautiful. She also teaches us that if someone can’t love you for who you are then he is not worth your time. Sofia is an amazing role model to women everywhere who have trouble with accepting what they see in the mirror.

Sofia, a makeup artist, wears makeup to cover up her skin disease psoriasis. Psoriasis is a common skin condition that changes the life cycle of skin cells. It forms thick, silvery scales and itchy, dry, red patches that are sometimes painful. Sofia, like most of us women, didn’t have enough self confidence to take off her makeup and show the world her bare face. Once she took off all her makeup she was rejected by her boyfriend because she wasn’t “his beauty standard”. But this didn’t stop her unlike the many girls Ive seen. She decided to take this situation as a learning experience and show the world what she looks like under all the makeup.

This article was eye opening for me. I have constantly told my friends to have confidence in who they are. It’s a real shame that a lot of girls apply tons of makeup to impress the boy they like. Most of the time these boys go for the girls that don’t wear tons of makeup to impress him. I’m also upset at the makeup industry because they make lots of money by feeding off of girls low self esteem. I think it’s time to realize these issues with ourselves and stop covering up who we truly are! What do you think? Comment below to tell us your reaction to this story.
