Ending net neutrality will save the internet, not destroy it

Ahh, Net Neutrality. Wikipedia defines it as

“the principle that Internet service providers must treat all data on the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge differently by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or method of communication. For instance, under these principles, internet service providers are unable to intentionally block, slow down or charge money for specific websites and online content.”

When I first discovered that the FCC voted to repell net neutrality and what that possibly meant, I was scared. Was this the end of free speech on the internet as we know it? But like pretty much everything out there, you have to do your research. And when I searched deeper, I understood what the FCC is doing and how is a good thing. I don’t think we as content creators should be too worried about the end of net neutrality. And, for all of you who are, I think you should check out this article from Fox News on Ending net neutrality will save the internet, not destroy it.

Also Why deregulated broadband is in the public interest is another good article that presents the other side of the argument.

What do you think? Do you disagree with these articles?

People Are Making Cults And Prisons In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Players of Animal Crossing Pocket Life are finding new ways to make the game even more interesting… or more like…crazy. As a hardcore player of animal crossing I do find that in order to make the game more enjoyable, you have to do some really odd things. For example, I once kept pushing one of the villagers just to make them angry. Mean right? Yea, but not exactly the same as making jails and cults.

And, although It is kind-of cruel to put animals in jail, honestly, I find it to be a little bit humorous. However, I do think that starting a “cult” is pretty insane. How exactly did that idea pop into someones head?

When I first discovered that people were making jails and cults for animal crossing Pocket life, I was really concerned. I thought that animal crossing was turning into a dark game instead of the bright happy game that it is. Thankfully,  that’s not the case. It’s just that because Animal crossing gives you a lot of power and control, you can use it for the good or bad. I mean, have you seen the many possibilities and things that you can do on that game?

I think it’s great that Animal crossing allows players to express their creativity but this is taking it to the extreme. Why put your innocent animal villagers into jail when they haven’t done any harm? Why make them stand in circles turning lamps on and off for a cult? The villagers are the ones that make up your town so why lock them away? Animal crossing is an amazing game, so let’s keep it fun, happy, and safe. C’mon, you’re the mayor of your own town and basically everyone loves you! As long as you keep your town looking nice and make sure your villagers stay, anything is possible.

I guess we will never know the reason why people do weird stuff like this, but count me out. What do you think? Are people going too far with this? Comment below your thoughts on this and don’t forget to check out my channels: It’s Nikki’s Gaming and Nikki’s Beauty Life.

HUH? What black students are getting from Harvard at graduation is causing an UPROAR

WHAT?

This is outrageous, were my first thoughts as I ran across the current news. An article reported Harvard’s plan to have a “blacks only” graduation ceremony. As a conservative black college graduate, I was definitely upset. I lived on the outskirts of Boston for 10 years and I have seen some off the wall stuff. But this takes liberalism was way too far. I agreed with the writer of the article. Did our race march and fight against segregation for hundreds of years just to go backwards again?! What if whites wanted a whites only graduation? Minorities everyone would be insulted. And rightfully so! But after doing a little research I discovered that this article has taken this black ceremony out of context. What I found made me realize that this may not be such a bad idea. After digging a little deeper, I discovered the facts and will let you in on what I found!

Famous Youtuber’s Big Mistake| Pewdiepie’s Racist Jokes

This famous YouTube gaming sensation Pewdiepie has made a terrible mistake. Instead of his gaming commentary, Pewdiepie’s racist Jokes towards Jews is now the viral controversy on YouTube. He made a video telling people to hold up signs saying “kill all Jews”. The worst part about it is that he paid them to do it. He claims that he was trying to see what crazy things people would do for money. But, that idea doesn’t work in his case because having people hold up hate signs against Jews takes it way too far. He doesn’t agree. Instead, He feels that others are taking his joke out of proportion. But, I don’t think being anti-Jews and making fun of the holocaust is a “joke”.
