If you’ve ever experienced heat damage like I have you know how disheartening it can be. You’ve worked so hard to grow your hair long and keep it healthy but your progression becomes ruined in one day. One day! I recently ran across a new product that will put those days behind us and revolutionize the hair care industry. That is, if it works. I’m referring to a flat iron that straightens your hair with heat instead of ice. With this flat iron, you can throw out all your heat tools and literally kiss heat damage goodbye!

Inverse hair is the name of this product and I first saw it featured on yahoo news. It looks just like a flat iron but is somewhat different. It’s made up of two parts: the ice core and the body. The ice core is removable and formulated with a special solution. The solution enables it to reach sub zero temperatures once refrigerated. When it’s time to be used, the ice core is removed from the refrigerator and put in the outer shell called the body. The body protects your hands.

Although yahoo news is reporting it to be a straightener, the inverse hair company doesn’t mention that anywhere on their website. Instead, they are marketing it as a hair conditioning system. Which is still nice. Maybe the inverse hair tool will enable us to ditch conditioners completely? Whatever it is, as it becomes more popular and there are more reviews I’m sure the confusion will clear up. In the mean time, here’s a video below where a beauty vlogger has used the system.
