Clever Hair Curling Hack Saves You Hundreds of Dollars! What Natural Hair Gal Will Test This?!

Let’s face it: Getting ready in the morning is not only a hassle, it’s a pain. When you have to curl your hair? Forget being on time – or having a good hair do. This is because, despite all of the accessories out there, few do a good job. Why are you wasting all of that money on worthless products, when the result is always the same?

Today, a clever hair curling hack saves you hundreds of dollars and uses nothing more than common items you probably have in your house right now. It’s the water bottle hair curling hack. This hack is going viral because it is so easy to do and the results speak for themselves.

Rather than spend tons of money on Dyson’s product, try this hair curling hack instead. The only question is does it work on natural hair? Your hair would have to be stretched to try this but who’s going to be the first curly haired girl to test it out? I would love to see a natural do this especially since they are demoing the $500 Dyson curler wand. Which in my opinion is just a little bit too steep for my pockets.

The Steps to the Viral Hair Curling Hack

To shape your hair into natural, loose hanging curls, get a plastic water bottle and a blow dryer. You should cut one end of the water bottle off so that you can put your hair down into the bottle. You should also make an incision halfway down the bottle in order to put your hair dryer there. When you turn on the blow dryer, this will cause the hair to spin around rapidly, giving it the nice, natural curls that the Dyson product creates.

Endorsed by beauty blogger Huda Kattan, this method is a cost-effective and time-saving way of getting those awesome, loose beach curls that people love. And you save over $500 bucks when you do it this way. At a price of about $530, the Dyson curler is going to set you back a lot. A water bottle? About $1.59.

For her part, Huda Kattan was really impressed with the results and her audience agreed, many of them promising to try it out when they had the opportunity. One thing that Huda did warn about, however, was the build up of heat inside of the bottle can burn you if you’re not careful. She recommends wearing some kind of glove to protect against burns. Further, some people have pointed out that the plastic can melt after too much exposure to heat so you might have to replace your water bottle after a few uses.

But the results speak for themselves: Long, luscious curls, all without any real effort on the part of the stylist.

If you love natural looking hair styles and can’t imagine buying another product to achieve something that is supposed to happen anyway, then this hair curling hack is for you.

The water bottle hair curling hack going viral is not only a time saver, but actually works as well.

If you’re looking to save hundreds of dollars and have perfectly curled hair every time, all you need are some empty water bottles, scissors, and a hair dryer. Give it a shot and let us know about your results in the comments.

Who Did This?! Weaves Severely Damage Hair | Amazing Hair Transformations

Imagine not wearing your hair for 5, 10, or 15 years because it’s been badly damaged by wigs and weaves. Feel the relief and freedom you will have when you finally rock your OWN hair that grows out of your OWN scalp for the first time in a decade. That’s probably how these women feel when they leave this salon. The Razor Chic of Atlanta Salon ain’t no ordinary beauty shop. The women go in with badly damaged hair and balding spots and leave out with amazing hair transformations. Press play above to see for yourself.

The owner Jasmine Collins aka RazorChic is a stylist located in Atlanta who restores people’s hair. And she is passionate about what she does. On her Instagram @TheOfficialRazorChic, she inspires others by posting her clients back stories and their before and after pictures. She offers products to help women grow their edges and balding spots. And she bashes the black hair industry for misleading and mis-educating people when it comes to wigs and weaves. (Quick disclaimer, I don’t think she has a problem with wigs and weaves but with the unhealthy way it’s being installed like gluing it to the scalp). Not only is she vocal about the issues in the black hair community, she is actively doing something about it. As you can see in this post where she says quote “on a mission to turn around the black hair industry.” I admire that as I am also on a mission, to help my sisters and brothers heal, grow, and succeed in every area of their life, starting with their hair.

Razor Chic offer online courses where she teaches her techniques to other stylist who may be interested. And she offers days where stylist can come in to shadow her. She is definitely doing it big. Just a few days ago her passion got her featured in the New York Times. Way to Go girl!

So even if your hair doesn’t need restoration, you couldn’t help but follow her because besides being very talented and successful she is also a Classy Chic Lady.

It’s time for this week spotlight on those beauty gurus who are shinning out there and Today it’s all about TheOfficialRazorChic, a stylist who is changing lives with her amazing hair transformations. See for yourself.

Who Said Black Hair Don’t Grow? Black Beauty Hair is Past Her Bum!

I hear it often when I go out. My white friends are curious as to how I grew my natural hair so long. They initially think my hair is weave but once I show them it isn’t they then ask me a host of questions. Like, how is it that my hair is long when most black women they see have very short or fake hair?

Now, many of my white friends have good intentions so no shade here. It’s just that They believe that because of the few black women they see have short or fake hair that African/Black hair don’t grow.

I then explain to them that “hair growth” is completely different from “length retention”. Some blacks use products and techniques that don’t work for their hair and break it off at a faster rate than it grows. If black hair didn’t grow they would never have to do touch ups on color or perms. I mean think about it, how come your nails are short? Is it because they don’t grow? No, it’s because they break. Once blacks receive the proper education on how to care for their hair and start using the correct products, their hair flourishes. As prime example with this black beauty.

It’s time for this week’s spotlight on those beauty guru’s who are shinning out there and today I want to show some love to a sister who locks are worth noticing and to the stylist who silk pressed it. The black beauty’s hair is to her bum. Her hair long, beautiful and healthy. She clearly has been taking care of it. Press play on the video above to see for yourself.
